Hello,up for bids here is a 1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Limo to settle an estate.The pictures were taken ,March 4,2013 with 35,381 miles on it which will probably go up after I take to gas station.I've only driven it about 15 miles to current location at zip 45872.It seems to run & shift & stop well but I know it has been sitting outside for several years{about 10} and driven very little.The exhaust looks good and tires have good tread.When transporting it here I noticed the radio didn't tune in,the climate control and passenger rear view mirror adjust are not working properly or intact.The defrost blew for just a few seconds an cut off and was unable to get it on again,may be a contact.The generator light was on so I assume the charged battery got me home.The bumper fillers at the rear are pretty cracked or gone and the right tailight assembly seems twisted in a bit.In my short drive I'm sure am not able to cover all issues and will definitely need some TLC so please bid accordingly.The body seems straight and solid for a 36 year old classic and most rust spots being around the molding areas of the car,undercarriage looks sweet.The miles I'm told are actual,original and current title says actual.This vehicle is being sold as is whereis with no warranties expressed or implied.I feel as if with a new alternator/generator that it can be driven anywhere.Will require $150 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end through paypal or may be relisted.The balance in cash at pickup within 1 week please.Thanks for looking and may God Bless. Sorry,no more pictures so come look before you bid if able.Call Fred days before 9PM but not on Sunday please at 419-348-6006. : On Mar-19-13 at 16:11:14 PDT, seller added the following information:Hi Folks,I went out to start the Limo today and the battery was completely dead.It was charged when I parked it there several days ago and nothing was left on so there may be a short somewhere that drained it down.Keep that in mind if interested please.This was never my personal use vehicle but got from estate due do death in family.There may be corrosion or something like that draining the battery and the generator light was on when driven here.Thank you,837fredr...Tue.March 19,2013.On Mar-20-13 at 12:52:13 PDT, seller added the following information:Hello again,after a fellow ebayer pointed out to look at frame for rust & crust around the driver door area I have looked under the car from ground level and did find that the front part does not look as clean as the pics taken from under the rear.Was able to knock a little crust off the driver side frame and noticed that maybe it may have rock rash or something like that due to indentation under the driver seat part of frame,however it is not buckled and in my opinion the frame is still solid,safe,and not ate out by road salt or rust.Don't really have an original to compare it to.Looks to me as if maybe it was probably coated with a tar or rubber substance when built and the little crust I was able to knock off was probably that stuff mixed with surface rust.After all it is 36 years old but still good as I see it.Did notice the converter to exhaust has a brittle shell and may someday pop a hole and need repaired or replaced.Sorry no more pictures but will give the frame a good grade overall,this is my opinion alone so please do not bid on any expert guarntees.Am still selling as is,where is,no warranties implied.Feel that even the buy it now price is reasonable for a special interest auto.Hope this helps,thank you,837fredr.
