Good condition 1996 GS500E motorcycle. I recently bought this bike and have decided not to ride this summer. The bike is in pretty nice overall condition but certainly shows some wear and tear. The bike was previously owned by a new rider who gave up on riding, but not before she dropped the bike a couple times(when sitting still). There are scuffs on the muffler, chips on the gas tank, and I think the handlebars are slightly bent. Otherwise the bike's not bad and it starts easily and runs great - the engine doesn't smoke and it sounds and feels strong. The transmission and clutch work great. All the lights, turn signals, speedo and tach work properly. The tires are good and the brakes are incredibly strong. I just installed a new battery and it has a current PA inspection . I think the photos do a pretty good job of representing the condition of the bike. Please don't expect a show piece, but rather a good, solid rider. It could use a good cleaning since some of the bolts have surface rust on them. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this bike a 7. The bike is at my house in Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. I have a clear PA title in my name. The title must be notarized out of my name before the bike can leave my possession.
