Vehicle Detail
For Sale 78 Dodge Power Wagon, factory 4 wheel drive 318 Engine 4 speed transmission engine runs very good, has new radiator, water pump, belts hoses, headers dual exhaust. Last owner put the 4BBL carb on it with an adapter plate. Truck still needs some work, power steering pump leaks, and left side brake line needs replaced. Tires hold air but are way down on tread, can be driven locally in current condition. Also the transmission does leak a little after being on the freeway for a while. Odometer shows 58,719 and might just be original miles, I had receipts up to about 40,000 miles from previous owners, and there are still factory stickers on the wheel well, truck was bought new in CA and owner moved to Oregon, according to service records left in the glove box, it has rust in all the normal places for old dodge trucks, there is a small hole in the floor board on the driver side but looking from underneath no other major rust throughs on either side. It has a factory tachometer, would probably work if it was cleaned up. I do have a chrome bumper in the truck bed for it I just found on CL. The bed was wood and has rotted away, you can find them on the web for around 300.00 along with the step side plates. horkeyswoodandparts.com I bought this truck for a hunting and fishing truck, but found one already to go. On Mar-14-13 at 08:57:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I've uploaded a couple more pictures. The truck has the original rubber floormat and as I stated in the listing there is a hole near the gas pedal on the floor board, but I cant find any evidence of rust through any where else on either side from underneath. Actually looks pretty good compared to another 78 I had.
