****** PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING ****** 1984 Honda Goldwing Interstate GL1200 I bought this motorcycle a year and a half ago. I had to have surgery last June and have been unable to use it since then. I do turn it on regularly, but it's not working properly and I cannot work on it myself. I do not have adequate knowledge to fix it properly. I don't anticipate being able to do so in the near future so I'm putting it up for sale. It is nearly 30 years old so please keep this in mind before bidding. I will try to describe it as best I can below - I'm being honest and disclosing as much information as I can but I am not a bike mechanic so I may miss something. If you have any questions, please ask them before bidding on it. I do have more pictures or can take some of whatever angle you want to see. I also have video of the bike running. Due to my surgery, I cannot assist you in loading or moving this bike when you come pick it up so please come prepared. ***** This bike turns on & runs but needs some work to be road-worthy again. It has some issues. ***** Physical appearancePaint is in fair to good condition. Seems to be original paintPin striping is weathered outSeats are worn and weathered - seams are split in some areas Leather covering on the driver back rest bracket needs to be repairedWindshield is intact - some scratchesTires - front was replaced a year and a half ago. The rear tire does have some wear and will need to be replaced soon.Chrome is in fair to good shape Engine guards have some scratches but are intactHas all the covers except the little covers by the lower fairingAll compartments work and lock I have the keys for the tank and compartmentsElectricalRegulator rectifier tends to overheat and the connection has some fraying / melting / burning. Needs to be repaired. As I said above, I cannot / will not help move the bike because of my surgery. Payment: A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500.00 by Pay Pal must be paid within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days after the close of the auction. If you need more time to pick the bike up, let me know and I can work with you but the total must be paid within 7 days of auction end regardless of when you pick it up. Balance can be paid in cash upon pickup or through a wire transfer. Whoever comes to pick up the bike will need to show some ID, have a copy of the invoice, and pay the balance owed in cash before I release the bike to them.
