This truck isn't perfect cosmetically, but it is very presentable and is in very good mechanical condition. The engine is very strong and doesn't smoke, doesn't have any blow-by, and doesn't burn any oil. The transmission shifts perfect. Everything works great on this truck. It always starts right up even in cold temperatures, and doesn't ever smoke or run rough. I've put about 500 miles on this truck myself while my own nearly identical truck was in the shop getting serviced, and this truck performed flawlessly. Most of the miles I put on it were while towing my car hauler trailer and it did great. This truck has only had 1 Owner and lived in Texas since new, so it hasn't ever been exposed to snow or salted roads. Therefore, there isn't any rust or corrosion anywhere on the truck, top or bottom. There aren't any performance modifications or programmer on this truck. I just had this truck completely checked out and serviced at a local diesel shop (the best within at least 500 miles of here). They put about 20 miles on it to thoroughly check everything out and this included driving it with their computer hooked up to it so they could read everything about the engine and transmission. One very nice thing they found is that the Holset OEM Turbocharger is nearly brand new. As for maintenance, they recommended replacing the water pump and thermostat, flushing the cooling system, replacing the fan clutch, changing the oil and filter, replacing the fuel filter, replacing the air filter, replacing the serpentine belt, and putting new o-rings in the power steering pump - so all of that is exactly what I had them do. The steering has already been updated to the 2008.5 and newer style and the steering box, tie-rod ends, etc are all in good shape. The ball joints should probably be replaced before too long so that the alignment will be back in spec (pulls to the right just a bit). Overall, this truck is in great shape mechanically and I would be completely confident in driving it anywhere at the drop of a hat. The interior is in very good condition. There aren't any cracks in the dash, and it is original! Everything looks good and all the upholstery is in excellent condition with no stains or tears anywhere. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. No strange smells and no evidence at all of it ever being smoked in. The exterior looks good and there isn't any rust, but it's not perfect. There are some nicks and scratches on the bed, and some light damage to the dually fenders. No real damage and no evidence of any previous wrecks or accidents or anything like that. This truck belonged to the owner of a local construction company since new so it was used as a truck, but not abused. This Dodge is ready to be driven anywhere you want to take it.
