1959 Ford Thunderbird Custom Resto-Mod For auction on eBay today is a beautiful hot rod Thunderbird that is very well done and totally show ready. This is a rust free vehicle. The car has 5,402 miles since its complete restoration. Everything on the car is stunning and beautiful. Everywhere you inspect you find care and detailed perfection. There were no missed steps by the craftsman that built this car. The black paint is perfect and glossy. There are no sanding marks or waves or overspray. There are no chips or dings or scratches. The chrome is all present and bright. I am sure it was all redone during the restoration. The glass is also perfect. The interior is also beautiful, clean and wear-free. Carpet, upholstery, dash, gages, headliner… all just like brand new. The wire wheels are all perfect and the tires are 70%+. The floorboards are also very nice with no corrosion or problems of any kind. Not only is the car nice to look at, it is also mechanically sound. The 390cu in Ford engine runs flawlessly and starts easily even after a long wait. The battery does not drain. The engine is powerful and smooth and detailed with chrome and elegance. The electronic distributor is a great modern touch. The C6 automatic transmission is easy to use and performs without complaints, weather it is cruising down the interstate or smoking the tires. All the electrical components work as they should. Including the gas gage and power windows. The a/c compressor has no belt, but spins freely and I don’t suspect a problem. This Thunderbird Resto-Mod was completed with great care and with considerable investment. I don’t know every detail of how and when it was completed, but I know good work when I see it.
