Fresh out the barn after an extended rest, for parts or restore, you are bidding on a 1953 Ford Customline Tudor with a 239 V8 flathead. The flathead is complete and turns over freely with a 6V battery, however, it is not currently running. Radiator looks to be real nice, hoses are still connected but water has been drained. Body tag numbers are B3NG142213 and 70B HLE 14GDC275G, originally Carnival Red & Sungate Ivory. The body is overall very straight with no major damage, however, it is suffering from rust in all the usual places. It will need work on the quarters and some patch panels on the floors, the floors are all there just rusted through is some areas. All the sheet metal needed is available from most old car retailers.(Mac's Antique Auto Parts). The frame rails look good, surface rust but no rust out. Real nice trunk lid and hood. All the glass is there and in good condition. All the outside stainless is all there and in good condition. The dash panel is complete, speedo says 79,800 miles, has radio and dash clock. Some additional pictures of the floor area under the rear seat and also the trunk floor. Both these areas are in good shape, some surface rust but no rust through, even the well for the spare tire is not rusted. Additional digitals of the engine area, the original air cleaner is in the trunk. Both door bottoms are solid but do have surface rust, have some pictures that are available. Doors open and close OK. The firewall is also solid with little to no rust.
