1953 Hudson Super Jet My grandfather bought this Hudson Super Jet new in 1953 in Spokane, Washington. It was going to be a project to restore but at 66 I have to admit it isn't going to happen. So my project can be yours. The car was driven to Arizona in 1981 and has been parked since. The last 14 years have been spent in a garage in north Phoenix. The Hudson Jet was a compact automobile produced by the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan during the 1953 model year. This is a 4 door version and is 99% original. The ignition switch and the vacuum gauge are not original. It is equipped with a 202 cubic inch “Flat head” six cylinder engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. The wheelbase is105 inches. The overall length is 180.7 inches and the width is 67 inches. The height is 62.8 inches and the curb weight is 2,650 lb. The speedometer reads 37,169 miles. I can't say if the speedometer hasn't turned over but my guess is that it did. Buyer to pick it up at my residence.
