This GT SILVER BECK SPEEDSTER was built here at the plant in Indiana in 2008. It is a recent trade-in on another of our BECK products. It was built for a client in Kentucky with some very unique features that were requested. The original client asked us to make the convertible top removable and add a padded rear area that could be used as seating for trips around his private property with his Grandkids. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AREA AS SEATING AND DO NOT OFFER A REAR SEATING OPTION. It is a padded luggage shelf and DOES NOT have restraints in this luggage location. See the pics.. It will be moving through the 100+ point Factory Inspection process in the coming weeks as time permits. This includes all fluids, alignment check, torque specification check on each and every bolt in the vehicle. Adjusting and lubricating all latches, etc. Essentially these trade-ins go through our plant and are inspected and adjusted to new specifications. It is a deep Silver Metallic. The top does not ever have to be removed and is identical to our standard top except that it has a row of Tenax fasteners across the back to allow the removal. This work could be reversed and the top made fixed to the car. We see no advantage to reversing this, but it can be done. The pictures currently posted here show the car with the top removed and the padded leather trim piece installed to hide the mechanism. The top is not pictured, nor are the side curtains, the top boot, or the full tonneau cover. All are included in the sale. This car has a 4 outlet A/C lay-out (see the pictures). The center of the lower dash valence is usually the sound system location, however this was a radio delete option car so 2 additional chrome "ball" outlets were installed.. A sound system can be added, but would likely be best to have a completely remote system in this case. Call for details, as there are several ways to approach this change if requested. Any other options can be added to customize this beautiful BECK to your specific desires. Yes these are the optional 5 bolt wheels, fitted with the Drum Skins to make them appear like the old original aluminum drums. It is disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear. HUBCAPS - I understand that some people feel this no hubcap look appears unfinished. Actually it is exactly as the original 356 was shipped. however, we can put "nipple" style or "baby moon" style hubcaps on the car for the cost of the parts. Nipple hubcaps can be fitted with the original 60mm enamel emblems, moons can not.
