I'm selling my 1967 Chevy Camaro that I have had since October of 2003 and has gone through an almost complete restoration. This car is a beautiful daily driver and not a show car but it still turns heads and gets compliments everytime I stop for gas! I have made every attempt to fairly and accurately describe the vehicle and welcome you to inspect it in person or through a third party if possible. The motor is a 1980's 350 block rebuilt in 2006 along with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with approximately 9,000 miles since both were rebuilt. Cylinder heads were rebuilt in October 2011 and the car runs and drives excellent. Odometer shows 35,805 miles but true mileage is unknown. The motor is built more towards reliability than all-out power, but it'll still move. I drive it once or twice a week just to get it some exercise. Otherwise, it spends its time in my garage protected from the Arizona sun. Runs beautifully and handles great with power steering. Brakes are non-power drum all around - just serviced. Factory 10 bolt open rear end. 15-inch rear wheels with BFG tires and 14" front wheels with Cooper tires. Tires are all in good shape. The interior was restored with new carpeting, seat upholstery, headliner, new reproduction steering wheel and a tilt steering column. It is missing a passenger side rear seatbelt. All gauges function properly and light up except for the tachometer which works but does not light up. This is NOT a factory A/C car. The heater core has been bypassed and would need to be replaced (about $40) if you live in an area where a heater is necessary. The car was repainted in 2006 but there is orange peel throughout that needs to be buffed out and polished if you want show quality paint. There are plenty of little rock chips on the lower rocker panels and a couple tiny chips where the doors meet the rear quarter panels. The passenger side door and the cowl panel between the hood and the windshield could use some slight adjustments to line up perfectly. All headlights, parking lights, brake lights and tail lights work. However, the back-up lights do not come on when car is in reverse. The original color combo from the factory was Nantucket blue with blue interior. Original powertrain was a 327ci v8 with powerglide transmission. I do not have any original engine or transmission parts. I do have two boxes of spare parts along with two extra 15" wheels with BFG tires for the front end that will go with the car. I have receipts and maintenance records for the entire restoration going back to 2003, along with progress pictures of the bodywork and interior work.
