1933 chevy 5 window coupe hot rod or rat rod project.. looks kinda like a ford at a chevy price. let me start off by saying i dont know much about these old chevys.. i bought this on a whim last year off of craigslist just the way you see it and i have decided its just more of a project than i want to tackle.. the guy i got this from removed any wood and did alot of fab work on it like chevy v8 and turbo 350 tranny, drivesaft is in it, disc brakes on the front, 10 bolt chevy rearend, coil shocks on the back.. body is channeled over frame, he started filling in the roof and the floors are roughed in.. i can see it had a patch on the drivers door bottom and the drivers side cowl bottom and the rest of it looks good to me but please look at the pictures closley and decide for yourself.. doors open good and line up fairly decent and they will need finish inside.. also the original latches are shot so i am including a nice new set of bear claw latches that i bought for it.. trunk lid looks like it was made by a metal craftsman.. i dont know the condition of the engine or transmission so lets just assume they will need to be rebuilt or replaced.. i have the title for it and its pretty old.. car has dents, cracks, bends, bullet holes, missing parts, etc, and whats in the pictures is what you get.. there was alot of things that were done on this car and there will be ALOT more fab and finishing work that you or your local hotrod shop will need to do on it.. car rolls easy and steers you could probably just tow dolly this home.. i know of a great shipping company that i have used before that could haul this for you.. vehicle is of course sold in "AS IS" condition needing total restoration.. i encourage you to come and inspect the car in person before bidding.. no zero feedback bidders..im located 15 miles west of minneapolis minnesota and 25 miles from the MALL OF AMERICA!!.. dont worry i already talked to your wife and she said you can buy the car with your tax return money if she can be dropped off at the huge mall of america for the day while your picking up the car.. lol..
