1964 Ford Econoline E-100 pickup truck I am the second owner of this California truck. I purchased it in the 1970s from the phone company. It was my favorite work truck for decades. I'm not looking forward to selling it but I'm scaling down toward retirement and can no longer can keep my faithful friend, "Old Paint". It got its last wash and vacuum then I drove it around town one the last time. I'm hoping there is an Econoline lover out there that will take over from here and restore it back to the way it looked like it did when it was in one of the old truck magazines in years past. "Old Paint" was a sensational work and recreational truck and never let me down. The Econoline has been worked on and serviced since the 1980s at Wilson's Dinosaur Repair in Ojai, California. It has good shocks, a recently replaced rear end, tinted front windshield and the motor and trans are still strong. I haven't used it much in the last few years and I don't want it to sit around any longer. Under the right care it can be right back up to snuff again with years of good use left. The body is straight and it has it's original tailgate. There is patching that needs to be done by the rain gutters, bottom of door, the floor on the drivers side and some odds and ends depending how far you wish to refurbish it. It's a perfect restoration project for someone that enjoys giving it the TLC it deserves. The pictures are a good representation of the truck as is right now. Vehicle is to be sold in as-is used condition. P.S. Note: I have a special set of sides for the truck that you can have. I had these made to carry big packages. The wood has to be replaced, but everything is there and worked out great for me over the years. I have two new rubber trim pieces that fit by the bottom of the window and some odds and ends for Old Paint that I will throw in for free. Truck has a clear California title. Also I am writing 99,000 miles since the speedo hasn't worked in 25 years.
