Vehicle Detail
Just moved this 1967 Pontiac GTO out of the garage. Had every intention of restoring but decided to move on to other projects. This a one owner car that belonged to a long time friend that passed away several years ago. He purchased it new in Nebraska before moving to Arizona. The owner always had a cover on the car. On the down side for some reason he painted it with a paint brush I suppose to retard any rust. All original as the pictures will show. I have tried to take as many pictures as possible. Interior is in very good condition as pictures show but for driver's seat. Original mileage of just over 73,000 miles. Four speed shifts smooth like new, has factory air that needs to be recharged. Runs and drives very good, motor sounds great and drives like new. I believe it is the HO as the Motor Vehicle Purchase Order indicates 400 HO Engine. I have the original Motor Vehicle Purchase Order, Window Sticker (in fair condition), Owners manual and Owner Protection Plan book and New Vehicle Warranty Book that came with the car among other items. I see very little rust issues. The trunk looks like new and may have original spare tire. The car is a solid Arizona car. Note: I have a lot of pictures that can not be uploaded for some reason soooo....send me an email and I will get them to you another way. The car is in very good condition for a restore. It drives, shifts, stops, and feels like the "good ole days" some of us used to know. I am also available on cell: 928 300 3086 I have a clear Az. title in hand...happy bidding. On Feb-28-13 at 08:50:21 PST, seller added the following information: I have added additional pictures to the listing and I checked the engine code on the front of the passenger side of the engine and is listed at 698459 WS. This is the same code as it shows on the Protect-O-Plate in the New Vehicle Warranty book which I have in my possession also. The WS would indicate a 400 cid at 360 hp. Also the Date Stamp on the engine is F207 which would indicate June 20, 1967. Also there is a small crease in the drivers door and just back from the drive door there is an indent which could be pushed out. Interior floorboards are solid no rust.
