This is going to be the hardest eBay I have ever had to write, so deep breath, folks. I am selling my Custom Lexus SC430 Widebody Twin Turbo. The amount of time effort and energy invested in this vehicle over the last 3 years is immeasurable, and the amount of money invested is not worth putting in print. At the end I will put together a decently comprehensive aftermarket list as some links to affiliated websites so you can see the scope of this project. Some things have happened and "life comes at you fast" and I have the difficult decision to make and sell this vehicle at a tremendous loss. I have built a few cars in the past and know this is a hobby not for the faint of heart with most certain financial losses along the way, so be it. So lets get down to business. Any project car should be unique, different and contain three essentials: Appearance, Sound and Performance. This vehicle has all three all done in that exact order. Since day one we knew we were out to make something people would stop, grab their cameras, tap their friends on the shoulder and say "check that out!" Driving this car for the few thousand miles she has been complete has been a trip. I have seen it on websites, blogs, print, you name it. There is a video floating around out there a friend sent me of a camera rolling while it traveled through and outdoor mall and to see how many people stopped with mouths open, double taking was enough to make anyone laugh. I will miss this project dearly and I know one day someone will try duplicating it. Bought about 4 years ago she spent 1 year in the body shop getting slowly fit in between the other projects, then another 3 months in sound being maneuvered in the fray, and then another year and a half in performance. The Brain child of Leigh at BRS Auto Design for the body, Reds Paint for just that, B's Car Stereo for a killer Audiophile sound system and finally Matt at Slick Motorsports to take a car no one has ever successfully modified and create this masterpiece. Every weld is a work of art and everyone who has seen it says its one of the most masterful jobs they have ever seen. I am simply the lucky owner. On the outside of the vehicle you will see a list of some of the greatest sponsors I have ever come across. All masters of their craft and all notorious for making sick cars. Without their guidance none of this would have come together and I thank them all greatly. I had companies approach us during the build hoping to get involved but if any of the sponsors felt the product was inferior I had to turn them away. This group is the best of the best. The brakes are the biggest you will find on a car, with 12 piston calipers in the front, 6 piston in the rear. The Exhaust is all custom and sounds great. The Turbos are a perfect fit, spool up quickly and quietly and the waste gates SCREAM out of the ports installed on the front bumper. Blow off valve was modified to blow to the atmosphere and is a welcomed sound between gears. Every piece of the performance side is custom built, one-off and you are the only person that has it. THERE IS NOT ANOTHER LEXUS SC430 ON THE STREET TODAY that has a twin turbo, or even single turbo set up on it, except 2 on the Drift Circuit tracks. You are alone...... For a modified car she drives exceptionally well. Even with 20" wheels, stiffened suspension, sport adjusted coil overs and all that extra weight in the front end, she drives like a Lexus. It's almost upsetting that you can't take the Lexus out of the Lexus. Once you get it illegal speeds though, you will value that extra effort. The Widebody cars are always a labor of love. Trial and error for clearance, width, parking, wheels moving, but after a few weeks we had her positioned perfectly. At first it feels like you are driving a Dually, but smaller, but after a few days you can't imaging yourself in anything smaller. I could go on and on, but here is the low down. Has to go. No, I WILL NOT TRADE for your special Honda or Tuner or "project car" or sister or boat or investment opportunity. NO, I will not be selling her for KBB or whatever other dumb number you come up with. Just bid, Be realistic and Good luck to you. The vehicle is listed AS IS but runs and works seamlessly. Also, its a Fiberglass Wide Body car, so the pics are very detailed and more available upon request for applicable bidders but do expect small stress related wear occasionally and don't be discouraged if it happens to you. Trust me, no one will notice. Or slap a sticker over it. This is a man's game. It will Ship all over, even over seas. I do require a Certified Bank Check or Wire Transfer within 5 Days of the auction closing and immediate communication from the buyer for the timeline. Shipping is at your own expense but she can make the drive if you feel like doing so. I do require a paypal deposit of $1000 at closing in case. The car will be ready for pick up 5 days after your money clears the bank and I reserve the right to end the Auction at anytime, but I don't see that happening. I also saw AUTOCHECK (? never heard of it) said auctioneer said there could be an issue? CARFAX is CLEAN and the body shop who did the work didn't mention any previous repairs, so I am not sure what the issue is there. Rest assured, no issues. This car is 90% complete. That 10% missing is you. A few tweaks to the bottom end, contacting a few magazines and taking the glory all for yourself. I don't care. The amazing fuel management system records are with the engine builder and he will be integral as you start to tinker around with her and see what she car do. Daily she is sitting on a modest 5 psi, nothing fancy. But the potential of two GT30's, built bottom end, huge PSI and a person with brass down there? OMG. Do the car math. I miss this car already. Megan racing mufflers tied to a custom 3” twin straight pipes from the turbos back with V banding EVERYWHERE for easy changes V BANDING is the name of the game, with all the plumbing with a dozen throughout the vehicle. Very clean, very expensive but very trick.
