Up for auction is one bad jeep!!! This 1978 Cj 5 has it all. The body is kentrol fiberglass with exception of the steel hood. NO RUST, not now not ever. The paint looks great, and the flames are vinyl decals so if you dont like em...they come off easy. The motor is a very strong amc 304 V8 that has been rebuilt. No knocks, ticks, leaks or smoking. The trans is a 3 speed manual. The clutch is in great shape and every gear functions as should. The seats are from jaz racing and very comfortable to sit in. All the gauges are by auto meter and they all function as should. This jeep has 4x4 with warn lock out hubs and it functions great. The frame is very solid, completely boxed in and has no rust or rot. The trans is strong and also does not leak. The ranchero shocks are near new. The tires are 33 inch super swampers (very expensive) and have a ton of tread left. The wheels are a nice chrome set and have no pitting or wear. The cage was custom fabricated and is a full roll cage. Everything on this jeep is solid and ready for the road, trail, or dunes however in my opinion its to nice to trail with and would be ashame to roll in a dune lol. A ton of money was spent building this and it was all done right. All lights and signals work, even the horn. The jeep does have a back seat, and all seats have seat belts. I pulled it out today to take photos before it started to rain, but as i was taking pictures it began to mist and sprinkle a little hence why there is water on the windshield, sorry. Vehicle has always been garaged and never driven in the winter. Im sure im forgetting something, so dont hesitate to ask any questions.
