Well I'm sure no expert on Fords, but I recieved this 1959 T-bird from a friend, who has had it in storage for the last 5 years or so. First I will list the minuses as I see them... This car has been sitting idle for several years, and will need whatever that would dictate. It was running and driving fine when last parked. The car is very dirty and just how I received it. Most of the chrome, and exterior trim, is is in the trunk and very nice. I do not have a key for it, and there is some rust in the bottom of the rear fenders.(way down low). Now I will list some of its pluses... This is an all original "flamingo Pink " (color code "T") T-Bird. The body is excellent for being almost 55 years old. The floors, rockers. trunk etc. couldn't be nicer. Not only does it have it's original drive-train,the paint is original as well. This car had a brand new interior installed, as well as a new dash, and it's still in very nice condition.The head-liner could use some attention still.All of the glass is excellent, as are both bumpers. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. My opening bid is $2,950 with no reserve. Its sure not perfect and it is almost 55 years old. I am selling it as-is.I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in any way.I have done my best to acuratly and fairly describe this car the best I know how. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way.I have turned the engine by hand, and I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have it up and going again in very short order. Now all this having been said... I can't imagine finding a more original or more un-molested 1959 t-bird like this for the price. And remember...It's Pink. It was snowing in Denver, so I had to take the pictures in my garage, sorry they are not so good.I think that whomever ends up up with this car will be elated, but those are just my thoughts. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
