This extremely well equip SUV was traded in on a new vehicle AND IS IN NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. This vehicle was brought into a Dodge service center with a loud lower engine noise and the customer decided to trade it in on a new vehicle instead of repairing it. A thorough diagnostic inspection has not been performed on the engine however it is safe to say that the knock is coming from the lower part of the engine, more than likely a rod and will require serious engine repair or replacement. The engine does still start and run however should not be ran long to avoid further engine damage. Because the vehicle is in such clean condition it would make a great candidate for a short block or complete engine replacement. The interior is a non-smoker and shows little wear. The body with the exception of two rust sports listed below looks very nice. Kelly Blue Book retail is over $11,000 on this vehicle. Regardless of that we are selling this Durango with NO RESERVE. If you have the mechanical ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive luxury SUV or a nice profit. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Overall good condition. The only flaws we could see with the exterior are 2 rust holes on the hatch. One is about 1 inch in diameter and the other is about 2 inches in diameter. There is about a 3 inch area of surface rust on the left rear quarter panel and some oxidation on the chrome grill ( seen in pictures ). The rest of the entire body is in nice condition. It is an 8 year old vehicle so there maybe a few light scratches or chips in the paint however overall it is a good looking vehicle. INTERIOR: Good and a non-smoker. The interior is clean and shows very little wear. Other than needing a light cleaning the interior is in good condition. DRIVE TRAIN: The motor has serious lower end noise. The engine will need repaired or replaced. Do to the lower engine noise this vehicle should not be driven. Tires have about 70-80% tread. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be re-listed, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up.
