This 1969 MGC GT is in very clean condition and features the very desirable overdrive manual transmission option. Original 72 spoke wire wheels are featured. Included with the vehicle is important documentation, such as the service book, the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, parts invoices, an MGC workshop manual, and the original keys are present as well! The 6-cylinder power plant, delivers plenty of go thanks to 145 healthy horses, almost twice the power you'd get from an MGB! Comfortable front seats are covered in supple leather and fit like a glove. The original head rests are included as well. It's very evident that this MG has been lovingly cared for and maintained in this fabulous working condition for all these years. Not too often does one have the opportunity to experience a car that still runs and drives exactly like way back, when it was new! She has undergone a comprehensive restoration to a show and driver level with no expense being spared. The car is handsomely finished in British Racing Green with black leather upholstery. During the restoration process, the car was completely disassembled and all systems were restored, rebuilt or replaced, including the fuel system, cooling system, hydraulic system and electrical system. All brightwork was replaced or replated and complete new upholstery was professionally installed. Since the restoration, it has only seen a few test miles and benefits from fastidious maintenance within the private collection of its previous owner. In spectacular condition throughout, this rare MGC GT is complete. They are wonderful road cars, strong and easy drivers with effortless cruising. They are a lot of fun and have a real following. My car is very comfy for road trips, as it's tight under the hood. It is one of the last cars off the line in 1969, as can be seen by the date of manufacture and date of delivery in the Pedigree.
