1958 Lincoln Premiere Coupe. I purchased this from the estate of the original owner in Watsonville, Ca 16 years ago. The car has been garage kept all its life and is mostly original. I replaced the carpets and seat upholstery when I first bought it. They match the originals perfectly. The headliner, visors, door panels, and dash are original and in perfect shape. The car runs and drives like it should. The twin-range turbodrive shifts smoothly. The engine starts and idles and drives down the road smooth. Everything works. Including the radio, clock, power windows, power seat, power antenna, heater, A/C, and the cruise control. Everything is stock on the car except for the cruise and the aftermarket A/C hoses. The A/C has been converted to 134A. The engine has had a lot of work done to it during my ownership. New radiator, timing chain, oil pump, and carburetor. The brakes are all redone and stop perfectly. The vacuum wipers and speedometer has been rebuilt. The front-end has been rebuilt. The car has the original paint with some touch-ups that were done before I purchased it. There is just the usual door chips and an eight inch scratch on the driver's fender. The stainless is all in great shape. The chrome on the trunk lid has some pitting. The bumpers are in presentable shape, but do have a couple of dings. The tires are several years old, so should be replaced even though they have good tread. The trunk liner is original and showing minimal wear. The engine compartment is clean. The undercarriage is clean with no rust. This is a 20 footer because of the original paint. It looks great close up, but you can see the imperfections mentioned. It still shines great. This car was built in April. There were only 3043 of the Premiere Coupes made in 1958. How many in this great shape are left? Take a look at the photos.
