Now, Please read on ..... This is the most unusual and interesting Mustang I have listed for sale on eBay in the 14 years I have been selling on this site ! You must have a look at this 1967 Mustang Fastback as you may not see another . This is the way we built our Mustangs back in the mid 70's , not quite the technology we have today , but oh , so kool !!!! Or at least , we thought so !! I can almost guarantee , if you are a collector and you buy this car , this will be the car that your friends and guests will gravitate to as soon as they walk in your garage ! They will walk past everything else to see this car first !! I don't care what else you might have there. It just reeks of the good old days of hot rodding that us guys, now in our 50's and 60's ,remember oh so well. BTO ,The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynrd on the 8 Track belting out their tunes !! Oh, I can hear them now!! Ok , enough nostalgia for now.... The car... This is a real 1967 High Country Special ...only around 400 were sold in the mountain states in 1967. Very few were fastbacks. They had badges on the front fenders and special paint colors ...only three choices...this one was Columbine Blue !! It is now a pearl white. Columbine Blue is a light Blue , almost a sky blue color. The data plate dictates all that is required to be a High Country Special. I have a pic of the Marti report. It could easily be converted back to the stock look of a 67 Fastback if you wish, but why? It has a 351 Cleveland 4 barrel out of a 1971 DeTamaso Pantera, a factory 4 speed ( which this car was), and really hauls the mail !! It has a nice cam that gives it the sound and performance you would expect. It also has power steering and power disc brakes . The nicest body I have seen in a long time and is 99.9999% rust free !! Original body panels !! Solid and straight !! Spent it's life in Colorado and Missouri and just check out those underbody pics... NO RUST in the floors or frame ...unbelieveable !!! Where else can you get a 67 Fastback like that? Not even crusty underneath?? NOPE !! On the interior, 71 Mustang seats were custom upholstered along with the rear. It has a fold down rear seat. A working hand held CB radio is still next to the shifter . American Racing wheels and Cooper Cobra GT radials round out the 4 corners. It has a 9 " rear end , correct width for this year model and a 4.30 Detroit Locker third member with a nodular case ( See pics for N case) This Mustang was built in the late 70's early 80's and was campaigned on the World of Wheels and Mustang Club of America show circuit. I have to commend J. A. ....the longtime owner , for preserving this car in the condition it is in. Only his loving care could have kept this car in this condition. The former owner won numerous awards with this car on the show tour and it was the feature car in Mustang Times magazine in 1990 It runs great and has tons of power !! It has a factory 1967 Shelby GT500 roll bar that was installed years ago. ( Probably worth a few bucks, eh ??? There is one currently on eBay for $3500 BIN) This is a eye catching Mustang Fastback with a great history. This is the way we built our Mustangs back in the mid 70's , not quite the technology we have today , but oh , so kool !!!! Or at least , we thought so !!
I can almost guarantee , if you are a collector and you buy this car , this will be the car that your friends and guests will gravitate to as soon as they walk in your garage ! They will walk past everything else to see this car first !! I don't care what else you might have there.

Ok , enough nostalgia for now.... The car...
This is a real 1967 High Country Special ...only around 400 were sold in the
mountain states in 1967. Very few were fastbacks. They had badges on the front fenders and special paint colors ...only three choices...this one was Columbine Blue !! It is now a pearl white.
Columbine Blue is a light Blue , almost a sky blue color.
The data plate dictates all that is required to be a High Country Special.

It could easily be converted back to the stock look of a 67 Fastback if you wish, but why?
It has a 351 Cleveland 4 barrel out of a 1971 DeTamaso Pantera, a factory 4 speed ( which this car was), and really hauls the mail !! It has a nice cam that gives it the sound and performance you would expect.
It also has power steering and power disc brakes .
The nicest body I have seen in a long time and is 99.9999% rust free !!
Original body panels !! Solid and straight !!
Spent it's life in Colorado and Missouri and just check out those underbody pics...
NO RUST in the floors or frame ...unbelieveable !!!

On the interior, 71 Mustang seats were custom upholstered along with the rear. It has a fold down rear seat.
A working hand held CB radio is still next to the shifter .
American Racing wheels and Cooper Cobra GT radials round out the 4 corners.
It has a 9 " rear end , correct width for this year model and a 4.30 Detroit Locker third member with a nodular case ( See pics for N case)
This Mustang was built in the late 70's early 80's and was campaigned
on the World of Wheels and Mustang Club of America show circuit.
I have to commend J. A. ....the longtime owner , for preserving this car in the condition it is in. Only his loving care could have kept this car in this condition.
The former owner won numerous awards with this car on the show tour and it was the feature car in Mustang Times magazine in 1990
It runs great and has tons of power !!
It has a factory 1967 Shelby GT500 roll bar that was installed years ago. ( Probably worth a few bucks, eh ??? There is one currently on eBay for $3500 BIN)
