1999 Corvette C5 Race car built for Grand Am This is a very special corvette that has never been a street car and was built off a Canadian Corvette Chassis. This car sold on a bill of sale only no title because it is a race car. The car was a gift from GM to Powell Motorsport in Canada and was built for the 2001 Trois-rivieres race. This car is a two time finisher of the 24HRs of Daytona and would make a great NASA or open track day car. The car was built for endurance racing and is a very safe fast car. The car currently has a dry sump 5.7 stock 2005 Z06 block with the original cam for this car, the heads are 243 that have had a CNC port job, the car currently makes 412HP and 404 Ftlbs of torque at the rear tires or about 502HP at the crank. The car is built to last not for ultimate HP. We do have the original race block with the car. The car also has competed in the 25 hours of Thunderhill after it was retired from Grand Am -SCCA South west division champion -NASA Time trial and open track car The car is equipped with the
