Description Up for sale is a nice and clean 2008 Jeep Patriot 4WD SUV equipped with a strong yet fuel efficient 2.4L engine and Automatic transmission with manual shift option. This Jeep has just 47k miles on the clock! We have recently purchased the car from an insurance company with water damage announcement. We have carefully inspected the vehicle and flushed engine and transmission fluids a few times to make sure there is no water there. The truck starts and lot drives. Power windows and radio work fine. There are some electrical issues that need to be fixed due to water damage (SRS, and 4WD lights are on, blower motor is inop etc.) Engine runs fine with no problems, transmission is sealed and there's NO water there. It seems to be stuck in one gear, probably due to a faulty computer. All four tires are in good shape. Due to huge number of vehicles affected by recent Hurricane Sandy, insurance companies simply do not have time to carefully inspect every car. They do not attempt to start the vehicles or verify the mileage if the battery is dead etc. That's why they mark "Not actual miles" on the paperwork for most cars, including this one. The actual mileage on this Jeep is 47565 miles. This Jeep is loaded with 4WD, Power Windows, locks and mirrors, Factory Alloy wheels, CD and much more! The car comes with NY salvage certificate. You should be able to register it in any state after you pass the inspection. Please inquire about a salvage vehicle registration process at your local DMV to avoid potential problems.
