Well I'm sure no expert on Fords, but a friend of mine has owned this 1962 ford galaxie for over 35 years. I ended up with it and now I am selling it. This car has been stored for many years...However it starts, runs, and drives just fine.It has a 352 v-8 engine with an automatic transmission. (it's all the original stuff). It has almost new tires, and the windshield is new as well.Its sure not perfect, and won't win any beauty contests, and it is still somewhat dirty. This is just how I received it. You could call this a "barn Find" . It would make a neat restoration/hot rod project, or it makes a neat daily driver just like it is. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it as well as an owners manual. Overall I would say the floors, trunk, rockers, etc. are all excellent for being over 50 years old. It had an in-expensive paint job put on years ago but still looks o.k. from 20 feet out. This car is over 50 years old and I am selling it as is. My opening bid is $2,950.00 with no reserve.I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in any way. I can't imagine finding a nicer, or more original and unmolested 2 door hardtop Galaxie 500 like this for the price. I think it's a dandy car and whomever buys it will be pleased with it, but that's just my thoughts. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
