Due to a mistake in my previous listing, Ebay ended the auction before auction end. Sorry for the inconvienience to all prior bidders, and watchers, it is now listed correctly and ready to sell! Up for auction is a 1961 Chevy Corvair Lakewood wagon. It is originally a South Dakota car so it is fairly solid with approximately 52,000 miles. No major rust anywhere. Floors are solid as well. It retains about 60% original paint. Some has been touched up. Has a great petina originally look! All the trim is there except for one emblem on right fender. I also have the rocker moldings not seen in the pics. I have an originally roof rack and misc extra parts. Rear bumper has a ding but I have a nice replacement. Windsheild has a crack but I also have a nice replacement with weatherstrip. It has its originally 13 inch wheels with hub caps and trim rings. Its originally red interior. Has new carpeting, headliner and kick panels. Front seat will need to be redone as well as door panels. Rear seat is in pretty nice shape. Dash has been restored as well as heating system although it only works on high. Duct work has been replaced. New radio is not hooked up because of no speaker. It ha Up s its original 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual trans on the floor. Needs new choke cable and carbs cleaned but I have new Carb kits to go with. Has new clutch, brakes and battery. Because of the choke cable and carbs it is a little stubborn to start in cold weather but once running, it runs like a champ!!! No major leaks or issues. No smoking. This little wagon would make a cool beach cruiser, hot rod or rat rod. A perfect one to restore!!!
