Vehicle Detail
This is possibly the freshest, nicest Honda CR125 in the state. 2006 Honda CR125 with 144 big bore but that doesn't begin to describe it! Less than 7 total hours on bike, and those very easy. less than one hour on engine, and that was 4) fifteen minute warmups for breakin. I got this from a fellow who barely rode it, He was the original owner but dirt bikes turned out not being for him. Less than 5 hours when I got it, you can tell by the patina, or lack their of on the aluminum, hubs, bars, frame etc. I am 58 years old and rode it for one hour. It was gutless compared to my KX125 with eric gore 144 kit. So I sent the motor off to HP bikes, CR125 experts, and had the whole thing done with much better porting than Gore(and more expensive) epoxy work and 144 kit. Then I added: 1) V-force reeds 2)Scalvini pipe (the scalvini is the best 2-stroke pipe out there. They still sell and race 2-strokes in Italy where they are hand made.A pro circuit or fmf pipe on a big bore can actually make the bike slower, the scalvini is made for it and added endless over-rev) 3)Titanium rear spring.(expensive but worth it as it drops almost 2 pounds) 4)Titanium pegs 5)Vented airbox (a necessity on a cr125 to get good top end) 6)Tusk axle blocks 7)Tusk oil plug 8)FMF spark arrestor there is over $7500 invested in this bike and it hasn't really been riden yet. Motor feels more like a 200c.c. Puts my Kawi 144 to shame. Has low end, plenty of mid range that it can blow right through getting to the top end with, as I mentioned, plenty of over-rev. I have only ridden the new motor on the road at my house, and didn't open it up at all until my last 15 minute warmup, but when I did, wow! The only reason I'm selling is: 1)my Kawi runs fine but isn't worth anything 2)I was able to pick up an 08 factory racing Honda crf250r while I was building this bike and that's what I'm riding now 3)I know that this CR125 /144 is so fresh that if I even take it out once it won't be worth as much and you won't get your dream bike. I'm really tempted, though because the cr125 weighs a little over 190lbs and I just might like it better than the crf250r. Comes with oem pipe and silencer.
