This 1978 Black Ford F150 Ranger comes with Super Cab, long bed, 460 V-8 engine, air conditioning, Explorer Package, Duel Flow Master Exhaust System, New Duel Fuel Tanks and Newer 31 x 10.50 R15 Tires! I am selling this F150 for a friend who knows just about everything about this truck. The stack of service records and receipts is about as extensive as you will find. I must have over $15,000 in receipts and boxes of extra parts from brake linings to a full set of rear cab glass. The rear cab glass can be seen on the back seat and in a wood crate. This glass was special ordered. (The glass in the cab does not need replacement, but it’s nice to have an extra set). If it’s in the pictures its included in the sale..That includes all the parts, extra glass and floor Jack. Please remember this truck is loaded with all these features 1) Super Cab 2) 8 Foot Long Bed 3) 460 V-8 Correct Engine 4) Cold Air-Conditioning 5) Flow Master Duel Exhausts 6) New Duel Gas Tanks 7) Over $15,000 in service records / receipts The body is in beautiful condition with the only rust being the bottom of the super cab on each side..Besides that I don’t think you will find anything cleaner for a 1978...Look at the pictures of the underside of this Pickup Truck, notice how clean the frame rails, suspension and floor pans are. The original owner all the way to the present owner always fixed what was needed fixed. Of course there is always more to do but it’s very minimal with this truck. The engine runs great and was completely rebuild from top to bottom several years ago and the tires are new also. The interior does not have matching seats but besides that the interior is in good condition for a 1978 pickup. Please be reasonable there are Body / Interior blemishes but nothing major. Overall the body is very nice for a 1978. The tires are nice size 31 X 10.50 R15s With 90 percent tread remaining. The engine is quite with no oil leaks and the automatic transmission works good! THIS TRUCK DOES HAVE COLD AIR CONDITIONING! See picture of over $15,000 in service records and receipts!! This Truck was always garage kept and fully serviced. The frame is still in excellent condition! No problem doing frame off restoration at excellent total cost. You won’t find a nicer F-150 Long Bed with Super Cab for the money!! Please remember although this Truck looks nice it is not brand new. If you want brand new don’t bid please. This truck belongs to someone that knows it’s over 30 years old and wants the history, collectability and loves to tinker.This F-150 is a great buy considering how hard these Long Bed Super Cab Models are getting to find.
