This car was bought new at Honda dealer in South Bay area, CA. The car was manufactured new in Japan on Dec, 1981. The car has had 1 local owner since new, and with its low miles remains an exceptional example of the second generation acclaimed Accord series . Finished in Almeria beige, code YR-51M, the car presents very well. The paint finish is in good condition, the body is great with few dings and chips. No rust problems anywhere on the car. Tires are 75% plus . All wheels are in excellent condition with minor scuffs or curb rash. All of the trim on the car looks good. All lights and lenses are good and look great. Only minor imperfections. All of the car's glass is excellent, including the windshield. The trunk presents as new, with spare tire and tool kit. The interior is likewise in excellent condition; dash is in very nice condition. The trims are all in terrific condition. Door panels are crisp and clean. The carpet is in fantastic condition. The steering wheel reflects the car's low miles. All gauges work correctly and show good readings. All switches and controls are in like new condition, and all of them operate correctly. All manual windows work swiftly and smoothly. The headliner is unmarked and in super condition. All interior lighting works fine. The engine bay is all stock Honda, as you can see, this engine bay is amazing. What you're looking at simply reflects 41K miles of operation. Car was involved in a minor accident, just rear end bumper and quarter panels, No real damage was done, no frame damage. I am sure most of you reading this have been in one. Prior damage Regarding the history of this car, we bought it from Insurance Company.All repairs were done by a professional auto body. We personally test drive all of out cars to make sure everything is in working condition and that we will deliver a vehicle that is road ready and in need of nothing. This Honda comes with a California salvage certificate. All safety inspection have been passed and it now ready to be registered. For buyers out side California Please note that we can also obtain a rebuilt title for this vehicle upon buyer's request. Registration process for a vehicle with a rebuilt title is identical to the one with a clean title. Nothing extra is required to register a vehicle with a rebuilt title. NO inspections are required with a rebuilt title. Cost for getting a rebuilt title is $250. This process will take up to 14 days and will be started only after full payment has been made. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. With rebuilt title, buyer can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work.
