Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevelle SS rebuilt 454-Muncie 4 speed-12 bolt posi 3.31 gearsYou are bidding on a real nice 67 SS clone. Over 8 thousand dollars of new parts are no this car not counting paint and labor! The only thing this car still needs is an SS steering wheel center. I will list all the new parts at the bottom of the ad, since it is very long. Engine is a 78 454 taken out of a medium sized motor home. It ran great as it was rebuilt a while back. I had to change the oil pan so I installed a new high volume oil pump and pickup. While there I change the timing gear also. The installed new gaskets for the valve covers, oil pan, timing cover and water pump to assure no leaks. The intake was changed to a 1971 intake because the original had an egr valve. It looks correct. Correct original Gm valve covers with drippers. New Headman headers. New mandrel bent exhaust all the way out the back. Engine carries 65 pounds of pressure at idle. Transmission is a Muncie M20 4 speed with a new clutch, pilot and throwout bearing. The bellhousing is the correct 621 that covers the 11 inch clutch. The shifter is a correct shifter that needs to be pulled up on the get into reverse. Drive shaft was cleaned and painted with new u joints.Rear end is a 67 Chevelle SS rear end with 3.31 gears. The code is CO, but the date is off a little. New brake shoes, hardware and cylinders where installed. It was cleaned and painted satin black.Body and paint is nice. The body has new fenders, hood, quarters, outers, drop offs and a trunk pan. The clear paint has been wet sanded and buffed to a nice shine. The body is real nice and straight. The doors open and shut very well with new weatherstrip kit. All the chrome on the exterior of the car is new except the stainless around the windows. This included bumpers, all moldings, door handles all the emblems ect.Suspension of the car has new shocks all the way around as well as new ball joints ties rods ect. The big block front springs are new also. The car has new brakes all the way around front Disc/rear drums. Interior is real nice with a new dash pad, door panels, arm rests front and back, headliner, seat covers and foams, carpet and package tray still in box. Console is also new reproduction. As well as new inside door and window handles. What does the car need? Even tho the carpet is brand new it is incorrect so the new carpet needs installed as well as the package tray. The engine has a long water pump and it should be a short one. I have bought a brand new (not rebuilt) new water pump and pullies as well as an alternator bracket. I still need the power steering bracket. It needs the correct water temp sending unit for the vintage gauge. The current sending unit sends it straight to hot. Vintage tach is erratic. The windshield does have some wiper marks not terrible but there. Also the car needs to be aligned. I reserve the right to work on the car. What is this car worth? If this were a 138 car it would bring around 30K. So I have discounted it by 25%. This leaves $22,500. I am going to discount this again by 3k to $19,500. I am going to set the reserve again a little less than this. Here is the long list of new parts totaling over 8k not counting paint, labor or engine. Carpet-Package tray-doorpanels-arm rear bases and pads-Inside handles-headliner and sunvirors-dome light-dash pad-console-shifter boot-seat covers and buns-carpet sill plates-SS dash emblem not installed-weatherstrip kit-all exterior emblems-complete grill kit-headlights-wheel moldings-rocker panels-tail panel moldings-tail lenses-tail bezels-outside mirror-hood-hood inserts-fenders-quarters-outers-drop offs-trunk pan-trunk mat-bumpers and bolts-bb springs-Disc brake conversion kit-clutch-radiator-exhaust with Headman headers-67 disc brake center caps-( I think the Corvette rallys are new also because they have two bolt patterns) shocks-u joints Then add to this the value of a 67 SS rear end, Muncie 4 speed and a rebuilt 454 and I think you will agree the $19500 is very reasonable! Please call 765-206-0350 with any questions. They are included. The previous owner installed new ball joints ect along with the disc brakes. I was going to add a booster to make them power. The rear end is from a 67 Chevelle SS code co 3.31 posi with metalic brakes. I paid dearly for this rear end. I still have the 10 bolt and you may have that to if you want.
