I purchased this vehicle from the first owner in Orange County, CA. The vehicle was made 09/1970 making it an authentic 240z Series 1 with production number #10179. It has a 4 speed manual transmission and a very strong rebuilt L24 engine with matching number. The exterior got the full treatment; it got a full tear down with new OEM emblems and a paint job with clear coat. The color is an original 920 Safari Gold. The interior is all original and in excellent shape. It has clean California Title and title on hand. Vehicle is adult owned and has not been abused or raced. I’m selling to make some vey needed home improvements. I personally purchased the vehicle from a Disney Engineer from Orange County CA. He told me he was the first owner. He loved his 240z but was not able to relocate it to Neveda. Start up and driving feeling: Runs very strong and shifts nicely. It idles great. The exhaust has a low deep sound. People compliment how good the engine sounds and looks. Gas mileage is good. Vehicle is fully tuned with fresh oil, filters, spark plugs, coolant, and fresh brake fluid. Never over heats. No oil leaks. Since owning the vehicle I have done various things to bring it to a restored driver condition vehicle. Of course with any 40+ year old vehicle there is something to update.
