I'm not in a rush to sell this as it is only taking up space right now. I'm not sure how to list this car. I went to KBB and chose the lowest setting and am pricing it accordingly against that. I'm moderately firm on the price. It is a manual which is RARE to see in this car - only 2DRs had manual option..when I bought it the dealer didn't even know it. It is a solid runner. Which means it starts up every morning and runs when I need her to run. She is 12 yrs old with 110K on the clock. It has been a one owner car. With that being said there are mechanical things which need to be taken care of sooner then later: 1. Tires - It does need 4 new tires...the spare is fine (now) -approx $400 2. Gas filler/tank - needs to be replaced (the check engine light is on - there is a loss of vacumm in the tank and when the tank is filled completely you can smell gas) (now) - approx $220 3. Front bearings - they are getting old and need to be replaced (in next year or so) approx $300 4. Brakes - My guess is the brakes need to be replaced (the ABS light is on) it does come on when the brakes are low or the bearings are getting older there is a little air in the lines as well.(now) - ?? 5. Parking brake - this is a notorious problems in these cars (future) Body condition - 1. For a 13 year old car the body condition is good. there is bad rust on the bottom of the drivers door. It is not through so this will pass inspection. I was planning to cover it in diamond plate but decided to sell the car. I know that seems like a lot however they are all not expensive repairs and if you are a tinkerer then you can do most of these in a day. You will probably have a car for the next 50K miles for about 4.5K when it is all said and done which is near the top of the KBB value for a mechanically sound car.
