Well I'm sure no expert on forward control jeeps, but I ended up with this one from a friend who has had it stored it in his garage for the last 10 years or so.He had big plans, and at one point, spent lots of time and money on it. Here's what I know... The plate with the v.i.n. number got lost in a box of parts years ago, so I am not positive of the actual year?(I guessed @ 1960). I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR IT. ( I can, however give you a bill of sale.) This jeep could be fixed up or used for parts etc. The engine/drive-train is all mechanicaly installed. The jeep has a lift kit, with a brand new set of wheels and Goodrich baja radial tires. The previous owner put a 92' ford probe 2.3 fuel injected engine in it. The conversion is about 90% complete. It has a new drive shaft, and gear set in the rear differential. I think it has new brakes as well. This is a hard vehicle to describe so please see my photos. Its pretty dirty and just how I received it. There are some spare parts in the bed to go with it. This jeep is over 50 years old, and I am selling it as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in any way. and remember it dose not have a title. I am describing this as accuratley as I know how and in good-faith. My opening bid is 2,500 with no reserve.Now all that having been said...I can't imagine finding a neater, project 4 x 4, forward control jeep like this for the price. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. My grandson calls it the big TONKA truck and I do agree, it is really cool looking. I think whom ever ends up with it will be pleased, but those are just my thoughts. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
