1973 Avanti II in fantastic condition. From 1965 to 1984, there were only a total of 2241 Avanti II's made... only 107 made in 1973; those cars are exceedingly rare. Chevrolet small-block 400 4-barrel engine and Turbo 400 automatic transmission both in proper working order. The car runs and drives very well, and has no major issues. This car appears to have spent most of its' life in sunny California, and has a solid, clean undercarriage without the excessive rust that some have. Paint is excellent and shines beautifully. Interior is very nice, displaying minor wear appropriate to a well-cared for automobile. The radio was removed at some point and never re-installed; I do not have it... the harness and connector are intact and unmolested. New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires on genuine Dayton chrome wire spoke rims. Glass is all excellent, chrome good with minor pitting, stainless excellent. Newer exhaust with factory tips. Original owner's manual with factory spec sheets stapled in the back. Also, the original receipt to the first owner from the Avanti dealership! On Feb-01-13 at 09:55:42 PST, seller added the following information: The mileage showing on the speedometer is 26K and change. I have paperwork on the vehicle going back to the original owner; to clarify, the actual mileage is 126K and change. The car has power steering and power brakes. It does NOT have A/C, although there are center dash controls for it if you wish to add it later. I will post pictures of the engine compartment per requests. In answer to questions about the reserve, I will add that I have placed a very reasonable reserve on the car... if you are serious about owning it I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
