Hello Bidders, Up for sale is my beautiful 1973 VW Bus. I purchased this bus this summer from a restoration shop where it was getting a new engine put in it. The Bus drives amazingly and the steering is still really tight. I am selling it because I need a more everyday type driver car but my loss is your gain! The interior is 95% restored with just minimal work that needs to be finished for completion. The engine is not the typical 1973 bus engine. I had the restoration shop put in the older style engine b/c i think the drive is more fun. The paint job on it is not the original but is really really awesome and it definitely attracts a lot of attention to the vehicle. It is a two toned gold to gold-brown. The bus has new suspension and brakes. There are 3 current problems w/ the bus though and are very minimal.-There is a carburetor issue and the bus won't hold an idle. Still plenty of power in the engine.-The door locks need to be reset. The ignition key doesn't work on the doors.-The gas gauge sensor is broken and needs to be replaced But overall this bus is still in AMAZING condition and I hate to see her go.
