Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is my 1975 Cadillac Eldorado. THE STEER HORNS ON THE BUMPER ARE REMOVABLE - THEY ARE ONLY HELD IN PLACE WITH 2 STRONG MAGNETS. I purchased this car in Texas in 1999 and it has been my Baby & weekend fun car since. It is an older restoration and is in good, but not new condition. I installed a new Robbins Convertible Top in 2000, and then replaced the rear window section in 2004 (or so). I had the Transmission rebuilt locally approximately 7 years ago (I have put approximately 1,000 miles on it since then). It has the original 8-Track player and it worked when I bought the car, but it took me about 3 days to remember why they abandoned 8 Track Tapes, so I added an aftermarket stereo with CD and remote under the dash. The seats had been recovered with Vinyl before I bought it and they are in Great Condition. I have all of the Service History since I bought it 13 years ago. It has been Garage Kept since I have owned it and well taken care of. It runs great and has no mechanical issues. The AC works - I replaced the compressor a few years ago. The Cruise Control Transducer needs to be replaced if you want cruise. I replaced it when I bought it and it worked fine for years until last year. As you can see in the picture, it has a matching Soft Boot for the Convertible Top Well. It has a couple minor imperfections, but overall is a great weekend cruiser. The Hood Hinges are worn and could use replacement. The Convertible Top & top motor works well, but needs adjusting to work perfectly (I live in a small town with no such shop). I had the Carburetor rebuilt about 18 months ago and a New Battery last week. I also had all 4 tires replaced last week with Brand New Tires. All of the pin striping was replaced last week as well. I have the original Owner’s Manual and the Original Factory 8-Track Tape. This is not a show car, but a real nice, fun and impressive weekend fun car. It has never overheated since I have owned it. I have tried to be straight forward about everything.
