Vehicle Detail

1995 Jeep Cherokee, black with gray interior. The Jeep is in excellent mechanical condition, runs and drives with no issues whatsoever. I drove it from NY to Michigan and from NY to Vermont and didn't have any problems. I am confident that it can be driven anywhere. It is equipped with the 4.0 L inline-6 engine and a 5-speed transmission. 4WD works perfectly! Engine - Starts with no issues, runs smooth, no leaks, vibrations, knocking, etc. These engines are very reliable, I've seen Jeeps with 200k miles still running perfectly. I changed the belts and the valve cover gasket. I changed the alternator, this alone cost me $250, surprising since most of the parts for this Jeep are fairly inexpensive. Transmission - 5-speed manual, shifts smoothly, no grinding, no popping out of gear. The transmission mount has been replaced recently. The clutch was replaced by the previous owner, no slipping whatsoever. The clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder has been replaced with new ones, still under warranty. Suspension - Sway bar links have been replaced. Shocks have been replaced with new Gabriel heavy duty shocks. The right rear leaf spring is a bit weak, it's fine for everyday driving but when adding a lot of weight in the back or towing something, the tire touches the fender while going over big bumps. Aside from that no suspension problems, no squeaks or rattles. Brakes - New discs and pads in the front, this was done just a few months ago. Rear shoes have been replaced, the whole system has been bled. Stops real well, even while towing. Body - The previous owner took the Jeep off-road so it has dings and scratches, the paint is a bit faded but still looks good from 20 feet away. The bumpers were replaced with custom made metal ones for improved ground clearance, the rear bumper is flush with the trunk, looks really good. A 9,000 lb winch has been added, works perfectly. A set of round fog lights were also added. Interior - Gray seats are in good condition, no rips or tears. The carpet and headliner has been removed by the previous owner. I installed two subwoofers, these ARE NOT included in the selling price. They can be purchased for $100 extra on top of the final selling price. Tires - I purchased brand new tires for it last year. They have about 5,000 miles on them, they're like new. I went one size larger with 235/75R15 Bridgestone Insignia tires. I like to keep my cars in excellent mechanical condition. The only reason I'm selling this one is because I bought another Jeep and I don't need two of them. If you live in the area come take it for a test drive, bring your mechanic for an inspection, he can confirm everything I listed. A $250 deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance is to be paid in cash or by bank transfer within 7 days.
