NO RESERVE On Jan-21-13 at 17:25:55 PST, seller added the following information: NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE TRUE NO RESERVE 1972 Rare Sunroof Superbeetle. Smoke-FREE. This vehicle has some minor surface rust on the A pillars, hood and C pillars. 1 rust hole (shown in the photo) on the passenger quarter panel at the bottom. The rest of the car is ONLY minor surface rust. The pans are rust free as well as the battery tray. Body is straight except for a tiny dent about the size of a baseball on the front driver side hood, just above the bumper. The bugs mechanical side has been professionally inspected and has many new parts as well as a strong, reliable running engine. NEW brakes, NEW transmission, NEW alternator, NEW spark plugs and wires, NEW battery, 34 Solex Carb freshly REbuilt! This car has had a full tune up and is in great daily driving condition. The interior is in decent shape. All parts of the interior exist but there are a few small tears in the driver seat and on the top of the rear seat. Passenger side seat in practically in mint condition. Seats are working well and fully adjustable on the tracks. The headliner is in great shape with no tears, just needs some new sun visors! The door and quarter panels you may want to replace but i wanted to keep them there as they are original to the car. The carpet is in decent condition with only a small tear on each side right where it meets the base of the door. The shifter and pedal assembly is original and is working great. The dash has some sun wear but still in good working condition. Has a CD deck and speakers installed in doors. The front winshield is cracked but the crack does not interfere with vision and can be replaced for $40. Steering wheel is original and the horn works! All lights work as well as push start ignition and fires up right away every time! This car would make a great daily driver or its a great foundation for a restoration!
