1965 Ford Mustang Fastback I bought this Mustang recently from a local who has fallen on hard times. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly how I purchased this Mustang. All the information that I have on the Mustang is from the previous owner and from digging through the boxes of parts. The original owner told me that the Motor is a 289 that he had rebuilt with forged pistons, crane cam, oversized valves 1.94 1.60. Transmission was completely rebuilt. Rear 8" axle was rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Front brakes were converted to 5 lug and slotted disc brake rotors. Disk brake conversion and calipers and all of the brake lines are new. Parking brake is Locar with braided stainless steel cables. Rear drum brakes and all components are also new. The suspension was also completely redone. New shocks, New high performance front and rear springs. New Front and Rear sway bars were added along with urethane bushings. American Racing Wheels and Federal tires are also new. Offset 15" rear 14" front, All of the center caps are in boxes. Hew headlight bucket assembly left and right. New radiator. Steering column is new, I'm not sure if it's Flaming River or Ididit. Grant steering wheel and new gauges. Throttle is billet I do not know the manufacture but looks good. Also included is a Locar transmission kick down cable, throttle cable. and oil dip stick. I was told the intake and Holley carb are new. B&M shifter is new in box. As seen in pictures there are many many new parts still in boxes. Including lots of Scott Drake components. All new weatherstripping and headliner. Lots of new chrome trim. Drive shaft was rebuilt. Front and rear glass included. Doors and fenders are new, no rust. Doors were shaved and electric door release actuators are installed. Power windows were also installed. Ceramic coated tri Y headers. Billet alternator bracket and new alternator. Subframe connectors. Fiberglass deck lid. New gas tank. Please look at all of the pictures. I know I am missing a lot of information.
