This is a 1998 Buick Century I am selling on behalf of a friend.It is in running/driving condition, but it does have its issues.Before taking it off the road approximately 2 months ago, it would leak antifreeze.It appears to be leaking around the water pump.After a month of being parked, we had to jump start the car.Once the battery got a charge to it, it started and ran fine, but I would recommend a new battery.The alternator, on the other hand, seemed to charge the battery appropriately.Neither the heat nor the air work properly and there is a chance the brakes need work.The turn signals have never functioned properly (I believe they need new sockets that hold the bulbs).Cosmetically, the car has a few dents, primarily one large dent on each front fender.There are a few other scuffs or dents, but no serious damage to my knowledge.The interior is in decent shape, with only a few stains and some stickers on the dash.As stated, the car has been sitting (without registration or insurance) for a couple of months.For this reason I am selling the car "As Is" with no test drives (no insurance).If you would like, I would be glad to show the car to you and jump start it so you can hear it run.If you intend to register the car, rather than use it for parts, please check with the DMV to make sure no fees will be owed for the vehicle having not been registered for the last couple months.
