2003 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon GLS TDI
This is a beautiful one owner Volkswagen Jetta TDI Wagon. It is in very good condition inside and out. This car is loaded with lots of nice features including leather seating surfaces with heated front seats, sunroof, Monsoon sound system and much more. This car is powered by the legendary VW ALH TDI engine. 2003 was the last year for this engine design and it is considered by those of us in the TDI enthusiast community to be one of the best TDI engines for long term reliability and efficiency. This car comes with the 5 speed manual transmission which is the most desirable transmission choice for reliability and efficiency. Put together, this powertrain is very desirable and with proper care and maintenance should provide the new owner with thousands of miles of reliable and efficient transportation. Mountain Valley Motors, LLC is a VW and diesel specialty shop. All of our employees drive VW TDI's for their personal vehicles. When you buy from us you are buying from people that actually care about these cars and have inspected and serviced them from front to back to make sure everything is in tip top shape.
History
This one owner car was manufactured in October of 2002 and first registered in November of 2002 in the state of Georgia. The owner moved to Virginia in 2003 and took his car with him. This car has a clear and clean title history with no accidents or other issues to report. We have included the Autocheck report with this car so you can see for yourself. This vehicle has obviously been very well maintained by the previous owner.
Mechanical
This Jetta runs and drives very nice. The engine starts well even when cold and runs great with all of its original power. The transmission shifts smoothly and we have just installed a brand new clutch and flywheel which work perfectly. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The check engine light is not on and there are no other warning lights illuminated. The underside of this car is clean and dry with no rust. The tires are matching Michelin's with about 75% tread left. The brakes are very good all the way around with new pads and rotors in the front. We have just completely serviced this vehicle including oil change, new air filter, new fuel filter, intake cleaining, and new SMF flywheel and clutch. We inspected the timing belt and could quickly tell that it and the water pump have been changed very recently. We don't have any records to indicate exactly when, but in our professional opinion it would appear to have been within the last 10,000 miles. This car has just passed a Virginia State inspection. It is ready to drive anywhere.
Exterior
This Jetta looks very nice on the outside. The paint is glossy and smooth. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes but nothing that would detract from the overall excellent appearance of this car. This car does have some of the usual small rock chips on the front clip along with some light scuffs or small scratches that have been touched up here and there. There are no dents or dings to speak of. I would rate the exterior of this car an 8 out of 10.
Interior
The interior of this car is nice as well. The seats and carpet are clean with no stains. There are no unusual or offensive odors and this car has not been smoked in. There is a hole in the floor mat where the drivers heel rests and the drivers seat bolster also has a hole. We have the floor mats, one key/remote, spare tire and tools, and the owners manuals. I would rate the interior an 8 out of 10.
This vehicle is Virginia State Inspected and Carfax certified. Don't wait till the last minute and be outbid on this very nice and very hard to find VW Jetta TDI wagon. We service and inspect every vehicle in our own shop and then thoroughly detail each vehicle. Every vehicle then passes a rigorous Virginia State Inspection by an independent mechanic. We try to describe the vehicles as completely as possible, however if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email us.
Honesty and integrity are very important to us. You are encouraged to come inspect the vehicle in person before the close of the auction, or have an inspection service to do it for you. Please call before you come as we are sometimes out of the office or have the vehicle at a different location. You are welcome to drive the vehicle before you make final payment. If you find that the vehicle is not as it was described in the listing you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit you have paid. This is only available if you come to our location to pick up the vehicle.
