1965 Porsche 911 Coupe with blue California license plates, numbers-matching engine and transmission, and factory original floors. Rare original Bali Blue car is fully-restored condition. This early 911 was stored in a garage in Silver Lake California for over 30 years. The engine was removed and completely rebuilt with new pistons (engine costs alone exceeded $25K, please see pictures); car retains its original carburetors and air cleaners. Original transmission in good working order, clutch is replaced new. Body was taken to metal and undercarriage was dry-ice blasted; please note the factory "1965" date stamp on the original floor pans, something you are unlikely to see on any other early 911. Entire car was dismantled (windows removed) and treated with epoxy primer, then painted with base-clear paint in the original Bali Blue color, per Porsche's COA (Certificate of Authenticity). Paint was wet-sanded and buffed to a mirror finish, then all body rubbers were replaced upon reassembly. All gauges were removed and sent to Palo Alto Speedometer to be rebuilt with new chrome bezels. Original dash wood and steering wheel were professionally refinished. Entire interior was redone to factory specification. New tires, new brakes, new new new. Too many details to list. No expense was spared on this project. This is one of the rarest Porsches on the market and its condition is impeccable. Thanks for looking!
