This is a '63 Corvair Convertible. The engine runs well, but needs to be tuned up. It drives straight and true. The Power Glide transmission shifts nicely, and it has good brakes, brake lines, and a new master cylinder. The sheet metal is basically solid, but of course it needs body work. It has a solid trunk deck and hood. The convertible top is not brand new, but it is in very good condition. The car has four brand new tires on it,( the little rubber nubs haven't even been worn off yet). It has a complete new ignition switch, and a new belt on the engine, and a brand new battery. The car is equipped with a factory gas heater, but I have no idea if it works or not. It comes with a car cover, a box of spare parts, and a lot of books and catalogs. The lights work, but the wiring needs attention. It has one major issue, and that is it needs a new rear floor. I have all of the chrome trim for the outside of the car. This car has a Spyder fender emblem, but it does not have the turbo engine which would make it a Spyder. The emblem was on the car when I bought it, and I don't know why it is on the car. The interior (other than the carpet) needs to be re-done, but if you buy the car I will do the upholstery work for you, when you're ready, at a reasonable price ( I am a professional upholsterer with my own shop).
