***NO RESERVE. Being re-listed after winning bidder decided immediately after the auction closed that they were "No interested" in it. So please, if you aren't interested don't bid on it. I would like to sell it and it makes it appear that I am not a legitimate seller, trying to drive up the price, which isn't the case. I gave serious consideration to just keeping it after the previous bidder decided not to pay, but the reality is I can not take the jeep with me.*** 1964 CJ5 for sale. Serial number is 8305164758. Original F-134 4cyl. Runs great. Mileage unknown. Recently completed front disc brake conversion professionally done by Arizona Brake and Wheel here in Yuma. 31x10.50 tires with less than 1,000 miles on them. I have had the starter and radiator rebuilt, replaced the alternator and voltage regulator, pieced together and re-installed the original oil bath air filter, replaced the instrument cluster with a NOS instrument cluster, installed new WARN locking hubs, installed electric wipers, replaced the water pump, replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump, installed an original tailgate that was missing when I purchased it, installed new tail lights, and made a number of other cosmetic improvements. It is an Arizona jeep and has light surface rust on the frame and under-body, but no holes or major rust on the vehicle. The original tailgate hooks were removed at one point in the jeeps history, but I have a set that I just have not had time to weld on yet. I also have a set of reproduction chains to go with it. The rear corner guards were added and are covering up an additional hole on each side where someone moved the tail lights at some point from the original location. I have number of other parts that I have accumulated that I will also include with the sale. This has been my project for the past two years. I'm sad to see it go, but I am moving soon and I can not finish it. I have much more invested than I am asking. I have all the receipts for all of the work that I have put into it. I use it as my daily driver, but it would also be a great hunting vehicle. The jeep does come with a tow bar, but there is no wiring for towing. Concerning the additional parts; I have a brand new wiring harness to go with it that is period-correct, new shackles, and I have an additional set of original lower windshield brackets that i purchased as well. There are no issues with the electrical system. Everything works. My plan was to replace the almost 50 year old wiring at some point.
