1976 Suzuki GT750 in Maui Blue MetallicManufacture: 01/75Frame #GT750-62220Engine #GT750-68034 The bike has 25,077 original miles. It can be ridden as is or make a great easy restoration project. I personally would put new tires on it before any serious riding around. I installed a new battery last summer to ride it around and have ridden it 284 trouble free miles while deciding to keep it for restoration or not. Fires right up and idles smoothly. The motor shifts and runs smoothly. Smoke clears after the engine warms up. All the lights, switches, gauges, electrics and starter motor work perfectly. Carbs were gone through with a light tune up overall to get on the road. Large aftermarket pod filters installed, sounds fierce when you get on the throttle. Sale does NOT include the stock airbox. I bought and installed a new reproduction seat cover (amazing copy with heat welded seams and Original OEM strap and chrome trim.) Tank is clean inside with no rust holes. Tank gas cap cover is broken but will not fall off when locked. There is one small dent in it, looks like it can be worked out since it is straight above the petcock spout. It is missing rear side reflectors that attach to the rear turn signals. Left mirror is stamped with the Suzuki "S" the right mirror is not stamped "S". I recently powder coated battery box to stop the acid deterioration. It is very solid just had the paint flaking and rust. The exhaust has some holes in the bottom center 2 pipes. They have some rust on the center exhaust header. There is some acid burns on right top pipe. They also have some aftermarket baffle tips that can be easily removed. The paint is in really good condition overall. It is not concours ready by any means but will turns heads as is. This amazing vintage motorcycle was very well kept and really clean. It rides great and pulls like a powerful 2 stroke. These are becoming very collectible since the 2 stroke road bikes have gone the way of the dinosaurs. The bike is sold with the OEM tool kit. I do not believe it is complete, but it is very close. It is also sold with the original owners manual and 2 original keys. The bike has clear signed by seller WI title from original owner with Date of issue 6/21/78. The title is registered to the engine like most vintage WI titles.
