Vehicle Detail

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner 2 door hardtop Worked 383, hemi 4-speed trans Moving, and need to sell soon...let's make a deal... Up for auction is my 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, 383, manaul trans. Quarter panels were replaced in 2000, engine work was done in 2000. The car then sat covered outside for ten years, the last 2 were garaged. There is surface rust bleeding through, and all the aluminum has corroded on the engine. The body will need to be sanded down to get rid of the surface rust. Trunk is solid and floor pans have been replaced. Trunk corners are solid. It starts and runs, I just need to put a distributor cap and rotor back on, fill it with gas, and charge the battery. The engine was run-in for 30 minutes, oil was changed, and has been started ocassionally here and there. This car was being built to drag race and has the following modifications: Engine: 383 bored 0.030" oversize, 0.590" lift mopar performance solid lifter cam, 3/8" solid pushrods, crane roller rockers, mopar performance stage 6 aluminum heads (ported) with 2.14" intake, 1.91" exhaust valves. stainless steel valves with double valve springs and 7 degree titanium locks and keepers. double roller timing chain, aluminum water pump and housing. stock forged crank and rods with forged aluminum pistons creating about 12.25:1 compression. High volume oil pump with swing pickup and 8 quart oil pan. mopar performance 440 single plane intake with small edelbrock 600cfm carb (i was going to put a larger carb on later). Has hooker super comp headers,I don't remeber what size primaries. Trans: Originally and automatic, has been converted to a Hemi 18 spline 4-speed using factory parts. Has centerforce dual friction clutch and new steel flywheel. Blow-proof bellhousing and hurst performance shifter. Driveshaft was fabricated by Denny's driveshaft service and has 4150 u joints. Axle: Mopar 8 3/4" 742 case with 5.30 gears and full size spool Brakes: Wilwood disk brakes on all 4 corners, with mopar performance master cylinder and line lock. all stainless brakes lines (hard tubes, and lines) except line lock lines, they are steel. Suspension/Steering: A pinto manual steering rack is installed, with adjustable drag shocks on all 4 corners. Polyurethane bushings on all front end parts, and 6 cylinder torsion bars installed for better weight transfer. mopar performance super stock leaf springs with leafs re-located inboard 3". Aluminum solid bushings on both forward leaf eyelets. Subframe connectors are installed. Interior: Autometer Tach and other guages on stock dash, stock front bench and I do have a nice rear seat (included). Msd ignition, it's the gold racing version of the 6al, I don't remeber the exact model number. 8 point roll cage with tabs for 5 point seat belts. 5 point belts not included. High volume racing electric fuel pump and stock tank has been sumped with proper baffling. I purchased this vehicle in Staten Island, NY in 2000 when I used to live there. This vehicle has a transferable registration card, which I have, signed by the previous owner. New York State does not issue titles on vehicles 1972 and older, instead, ownership is trasnfered with the transferable registration card. I was never going to drive this car on the street, so I never had the registration transfered. fender tag shows it was originally an N96 Air grabber car, but I do not have any Air grabber parts. I have almost all the glass except for the windshield, and one of the rear quarter glasses. I have a brand new black carpet, and the rear seat, which was recovered along with the front seats in 2000. Both included. Although not pictured, A steel 383 hood and rear bumper are included. I have about 95% of the interior parts, trim, screws, handles, etc. all bagged and tagged and go with the car. All parts that I do have for the car will go with the car when sold. I think the only things I don't have are the door panels and headliner- I do have bows, in their correct locations with the old headliner- included. I also have the rear taillights and bezels and all side marker housings and lenses. Parking brake not attached, but parts are there. I think I have remembered it all. If not, I will post more info as I remember. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Serious bidders only. $2000.00 Deposit due at auctions end via paypal. The rest may be paid in cash or by certified check. Buyer must make arrangements to pick up or ship within 7 days of auction end. The car will be sold "AS-IS". There is no warranty or guarantee of any kind. Thanks for viewing and good luck.
