Vehicle Detail

This is a numbers matching 69 Mach 1. I bought it from the original owners nephew. It has been in covered storage since I bought it. It DOES have rust and will need restoring. When I bought it, I started buying parts (you can see the fenders in the pic) and had a custom shop at the time. We ran the numbers and it was going to cost around $20k to $25k to bring it to showroom condition. I would say it would take about $10k to $15k additional if you took it to a shop. Once restored, properly, it would be worth well over $100k. I have never run the car, but the guy I bought it from had it running. It has nearly all its parts and the exterior sheet metal is in quite good shape. There are some minor dings, that could be easily removed without much work. There is no rust on the exterior sheet metal. The rust is only on the underside. It will need a complete new floor, front to rear. The firewall is solid. Both front seats and the rear seat seemed to be in decent condition and would simply need new coverings. We removed the doors and they are solid and in good condition.I am selling the car due to moving and no longer want to store it. I don't know when I will have time to restore it. There is no reserve and it will go to the highest bidder. It is being sold AS IS and all the parts I already purchased will go with the sale.I am unable to send more pictures, so don't ask. It is located in Dallas, TX and I am not. Buyer will be responsible for shipping. There is no battery and the driveline is unhooked so it will have to be pulled onto a trailer/transport.On Jan-13-13 at 21:59:07 PST, seller added the following information: Vehicle is located Dallas, TX not Montana. I realize that the item location states Montana, but this is incorrect. On Jan-18-13 at 12:08:11 PST, seller added the following information: I am adding this since the question is asked about 3 or 4 times per day and I don't have time to keep answering the same question. This car is being sold AS IS. It needs to be completely restored. I am not suggesting that one person will restore it the same as another. I am also not suggesting that when whoever does restore the car they will be able to sell it for over $100k. What I am saying is that if you watch the car auctions, and I mean the classics, not your local hawk shop, you will find that a similar 1969 Mach I in fully restored like factory condition can and does bring $100k plus. That is an auction. So this week the same car may sell for $55k and next week for $155k. I nor anyone else has any control over that. If you are looking for a car to restore and drive as your "take your wife out on the town" car, then it probably won't be worth $100k, but you also will not be putting as much money into the restoration.
