Showcasing an excellent example of a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am that shows less than 29,600 miles. The title says the car has 29,600 true miles, but due to the age of the car we are listing it as a "miles exempt" vehicle. Originally sold at Barrett Jackson in 2011, this mint 70's Muscle car is a fresh frame-off, rotisserie restored 1979 Trans Am with a 403 cid 6.6 Liter engine, TH350 automatic transmission, T-Tops, power steering and power brakes. Painted Atlantis Blue with Dupont's Chromabase system and polished to a high gloss. The Trans Am decals are five shades of blue with gold accents to match the gold snowflake wheels. This car has all the original sheet metal and has been repainted from red to blue. The trim, glass and paint are in excellent condition. The blue exterior is complimented with an original black interior. The interior looks amazing for 33 years old and looks like new. Underside is as clean and glossy blue as the rest of the car. No undercoat on this beauty. The original inspection sticker from 1979 has been retained and is still on the windshield. It has a Sony CD player with Alpine speakers. The 403 cid engine has been completely redone, the pistons are .030. Engine bay is painted to match the body and is highly detailed. This is a beautiful example of a solid car that sounds and runs great. It is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. The clean engine compartment houses the original 6.6L V8 that runs excellent. The engine is coupled with the original 3-speed automatic transmission and rear end. This is a very well documented car that has been babied its entire life.
