1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL 67,374 Original Miles Hello, and welcome to my eBay auction. For your consideration today is a real nice Mercedes 450SL. Not only does this car have low miles, it has had the sort of caring that we all hope to find in a car. It is 100% factory stock, right down to the Becker stereo. This Mercedes is nice enough to keep forever and be proud of every day. It is sold with both hard and soft tops. This Mercedes was sold new in California and has lived in Oregon as well. There is ZERO rust anywhere on this car. I just had the soft top replaced because of a split rear window. I used the best available canvas and had the work performed by the premier upholsterer in my city. The top is stunning and fits perfectly. The paint is also beautiful. There are very few flaws if any. The Mercedes has no dings dents or scratches. It has never been involved in an accident. The interior is gorgeous. The seats have no splitting or cracking. The carpet fibers are clean and bright and stand tall. The power windows work just as they should. Mechanically the car is also top notch. It starts easily with no effort. The SL runs strong and smooth through all of its gears. It does not smoke or drip oil. It has ALL of its exhaust system and smog equipment. It does not pull or wander on the road… Even under hard braking. The shocks are tight as is the suspension. The spare tire has never been on the road. All the tools are present as is the jack and lug wrench. The Mercedes books are complete and in the glove box. There are many SLs available for sale. I try to look at most of them as they come up. Rarely have I seen one in this type of condition. I welcome buyers to inspect the car as well. It is as nice as you hope it is. I am setting the reserve low and I expect the car to sell the first go around. As a matter of fact many of my cars don’t make the full 7 days. Emails asking me to reveal my reserve will be ignored.
