*** NO RESERVE AUCTION - FIRST BID STARTS SELLING *** This is a 1959 GMC Pickup in "ratrod" flat black with ultra rare LONG BED option ! Similar to Chevy Apache. Truck features very powerful Chevrolet 350 V-8 professionally built recently with $3500 worth of name brand components in engine alone including Edelbrock aluminum heads, Mahle pistons, Comp Cam camshaft, Holley 4 barrel, etc.. Motor rated at 500+ HP. See motor list of main components below. Have original receipts for all $3500 of engine parts. Auto trans has 2500 RPM stall converter and B&M floor mounted T shifter. Needs some work to be finished, bought and sold in "as is" condition. Due to recent injury, I do not have time to finish another project right now. My loss is your gain!!! Truck snorts and sounds awesome, sounds like 500+HP should! Harley riders will have no trouble hearing this truck! Inner rear fenders pictured are BRAND NEW but not fastened to bed of truck. Bed was cut out to be tubbed and someone did not follow through. These inner fenders are brand new replacements from modern truck and included with this auction, need to be fastened. Front end has modern rack & pinion and steering column from GMC van. Interior has modern bucket seats from GMC truck. Doors have new repro interior panel inserts painted bright red. New repro chrome headlight surround trim pieces. New chrome repro door mirrors. Also has large race style Auto Meter tach mounted on A pillar. Interior has shop made center console with storage and working Pioneer AM/FM? CD Player. Truck has electric Holley fuel pump and electric water pump. New repro chrome plated bumpers front and rear. New repro front grille and cowl over windshield. Modern plated alloy wheels and radial tires in excellent condition. Battery in case relocated to bed. Frame is clean and straight with only very light surface rust. The BAD: Please keep in mind this truck runs very strong, but has needs some work depending on what you personally expect. It is not show truck. Has some bondo type patches, some small pinhole rust holes bottom of doors, some small dents, etc. Has older style radiator that probably should be replaced with modern unit. Not sure if all lights work, may need some wiring. Doors need alignment / adjustment. Has original leaf spring suspension. Previous owner lowered front end by relocating front axle above front leaf springs, also removed front shocks, original shock mounts still remain. Need shorter front shocks. Rear suspension appears stock with both rear leaf springs and rear shocks in normal configuration. Tailgate has red paint as quick test from previous owner, needs matching paint. The UGLY ? : Every female I know thinks its "ugly". Contrarily, every guy I know says same thing, its "badass". Go figure? NOTE: Not sure what actual mileage is, or if odometer works, so I listed "99,999" for miles. Motor was recently rebuilt, still has CAM 2 break in oil ! Rebuilt motor probably has around only 50 miles, if that. Oil is still clean, looks new. Has current New York State clean title and registration. Truck is insured and safe in secure storage unit, out of elements. I can hold truck and store until spring if required after full payment received. Pick up later if you want.
