Vehicle Detail
Roller project car. All the hard work has been accomplished. Ready for your drive train installation. Can also custom build this machine for you. I recommend an FE 390 based stroker motor with Edelbrock heads, a top loader 4 speed and a 4.30 rear end. Note -- I will include a brand new 9 inch big bearing housing, with new 31 spline (or 28 if you prefer) axles for the winning bidder, if you "Buy It Now"! . This car was converted into a strip/street machine in the 70's. The power train was removed before I picked it up years ago. Body is ROCK Solid. All the glass is intact, and the trim. Has a fuel cell, battery cut off switch, battery charger posts. Paint is red with a slight gold metallic. Really pops in the sun. The roll cage is Hollman-Moody work of art. Highest quality work. Lots of bars. This is a great starting point for an open road race car, or an open track car that is not another Mustang. Stand out from crowd! The suspension can be set up just like a Mustang, with the lowered control arm and poly bushings. Suggest Open Tracker roller upper arms and perches, springs to suit your engine choice, and go get to gettin'. Includes a new 1 inch front sway bar, and drive shaft, plus a drive shaft safety loop! One more note. The drivers front wheel has been changed. It doesn't really matter, right? You are going to put some cool wheels on it. Drivers front has a stock steel wheel. Have a set of Western Wagon wheels and a set of old school aluminum slots for it. Winning bidder can have either set! Both with good tires. Not race rubber or anything. But decent tires to roll it around on and even drive it after you get it going. Another note, just for the lawyers. This is a project car. If you lack that skills to finish it, no worries. I can finish it to your specs. It doesn't run, as there is no engine installed. No battery. It is a roller. As you see it. Haynes High Performance can turn this into your custom street or track machine: Cut and paste hayneshighperformance.com into your browser, as the Bay of EEE no longer allows hyperlinks embedded in the description. It is all part of their world domination plan, no doubt. Have the grill and rear window, and will be installing them this week. Hood is really nice, with just one small hickie. Bumpers are straight, chrome is good. Just look at the roll cage and front end tubing. All mandrel bent with no kinks. The interior is all done in bead rolled aluminum panels. Very nice. All 4 windows roll up and down. No gauges, but there is a gauge panel. The racing seat belt harness has never been used. Perfect condition. On Jan-10-13 at 06:23:54 PST, seller added the following information: For unknown reasons, Ebay still removes the Buy it now price after the first bid. You would think they would fix this. But no. Buy it now price is $8,000. I can also help with delivery by meeting you in the Dallas or Houston.
