Vehicle Detail

Well it really breaks my heart to list this car but I have way to many things going on right now. I purchased this car a short time ago with the full intentions of keeping it and driving it often. The gentleman I purchased it from bought it in 1969 and drove it everyday until 5 yrs ago when the brakes went out and he parked it in his garage. I purchased it filled it with gas, done a tune up, and repaired all the brakes and it runs really well and drives pretty good. As I understand it. The car was restored around 20yrs ago and you can tell it is an older restore. Dont get me wrong. It looks very good and is still very solid. The only rust issue is the battery box and he gave me a brand new replacement that will go with the car. It is still on a 6 volt system and has a brand new battery and it cranks well and runs smooth. The tranny shifts good and it handles the road well. It does need a set of tires and my reserve is set knowing that. The exterior paint is pretty good but you can tell its an older paint job. There are a few bubbles around the edges and there is a paint flake missing on the roof not quite the size of a dollar bill but no other signs of paint missing. Everything seems to be there except one small grill piece on the front. I have the piece but the tabs are broken off. The interior is in very good conditon and it looks very original and is stil very solid. It will need door and window seals because they look original. The chrome looks good byt it is also showing its age but I believe everything is there. I have driven the car some but never over a long distance and as I said earlier it needs tires. so keep that in mind if you win the bid. Please if you are close come by and see the car for yourself and do not hesatate to ask questions. I have no idea on which engine is in it so if you can tell me how to tell then I will be more than happy to look for you. There are not seat belts installed in the car but I have new ones that will go with it. I truly want to keep the car but it just is not time right now. If you are looking for a project that wont break the bank or take years and years then this is it. It really doesnt need much. Feel free to ask any and all questions and do not bid with questions that have not been answered. If you want to talk in person then shoot me your number and I will be glad to call you (let me know a time zone and a good time to call) You can come by and pick up the car or have it shipped. I really dont have anyone who I can get you a deal with but I will help all I can. I suggest you get your own quotes for shipping my zip is 30814 and Im 3 miles off I-20 and I have plenty of room for a truck. (this does help) Do not bid unless you plan to buy. I have added pics of the VIN numbers on the chassis under the rear seat, on the tag under the hood/trunk/boot, and on the title that I was given by the previous owner that he was issued in 1973. And before you ask he did tell me he purchased it in 69. If you look at the pics. All the numbers match.
